Taking Care of Self

Put your name at the top of your list this week and give yourself what you need to feel good inside and out.

So many times we get busy taking care of other people’s needs and we forget about our own, which can be draining over time and not very conducive for our own overall health and well-being.

Remember, when our own ‘battery’ is charged fully, we have more to offer others, so the key is to take care of yourself first.

So ask yourself, “What do I need to do to recharge my battery this week.”

Here are some ideas to get you thinking.

Do I need . . .

more sleep?
to ask for help?
quiet time?
to connect with my friends?
to be more active?
to adjust my eating habits?
to say “no” more often?
to get out into nature?
to get organized?
to take a break from all of my “to do” lists?
to take a vacation or schedule a retreat?
to get a massage?

Let this week be all about taking care of the most important person in your life . . . YOU!
