Self Love

This week’s focus is all about looking within and discovering love for the most important person in your life . . . YOU!

“The most powerful relationship you will ever have is the relationship with yourself.” –  Steve Maraboli

When we have love for ourselves, we radiate that energy out into the world, and the world will respond to that call with even more love.  What we shine outward, we attract inward.  (This is called the law of attraction.)

“Loving yourself…does not mean being self-absorbed or narcissistic, or disregarding others. Rather it means welcoming yourself as the most honored guest in your own heart, a guest worthy of respect, a lovable companion.” – Margo Anand

So this week, work on putting aside the inner critic and negative self talk in order to change your thoughts and words about yourself.  Be kind and loving to ALL of who you are in this present moment.  Find gratitude for the things you love about yourself, giving yourself compliments and positive encouragement throughout your day.

“To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh

Be in the Question:
“How can I be more loving towards myself this week?  What simple things can I do to generate and radiate self love?”

Positive Affirmation:

“I love all of who I am and all of who I’m becoming.  Loving myself works miracles in my life.”
