Present Moment

Daily Affirmation: “I am here. It is now, and I find peace in the present moment. As I breathe, I connect to the gifts each moment brings me and I SO enjoy this.”

Take a moment and say “hello” to your body as you read this sentence. Notice your posture and how your body is positioned. What body parts are you most aware of? Adjust a bit and see what else you notice in your physical body.

As you did this short exercise, you were in the present moment. Not thinking about the past or the future. You were feeling, sensing and aware of what was going on at that moment.

There are pearls or gifts when we plug in to the present moment and this is where the magic happens for us to be at peace, heal, transform, and realize the beauty in each moment.

Even as we head into the busy holiday season, give yourself permission to enjoy each moment. Whether you’re driving, parking, shopping, decorating, planning, baking, wrapping, eating or celebrating. . . try to be in the moment and find the peace that resides there!
